Aamir's children's day out!

"Children's minds are alive at a young age and they absorb anything that they find interesting," says Aamir.
Aamir was on a day out with small kids on children's day promoting his new movie "TAARE ZAMEEN PAR" with a two hour talk show on Radio Mirchi. He was accompanied by four select kids.
"Every child is special and there is something special about every child. It is our responsibility to identify and nurture the special trait in every child,"
Aamir named the film Taare Zameen Par because he believes that children are God's gift, just like stars twinkling in the sky.
The movie is due to release on December 21st.

SHAH RUKH denies bidding for IPL

King Khan has denied that he is bidding for a franchise after round of rumors that he was among top bidders for the teams competing in BCCI's INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE(IPL).
SRK told TIMES NOW news channel, Wish I had that much money to buy franchise,I would love to have one on my name.Only time will spill out the truth.
Even as some of the top personalities and business tycoons ANIL AMBANI, VIJAY MALLAYA and Hollywood actor RUSSELL CROWE are in race to have franchises'.
According to the BCCI official, England-based Lord Swaraj Paul is also in the fray and bidders will also bid for some of iconic players like Sachin tendulkar,Rahul dravid,Saurav ganguly and Ricky ponting.
The floor price for bidders has been fixed starting at $50 million.
A final decision on the teams, the league format and other related issues would be taken at an IPL governing council meeting November 17 in Jaipur.
The IPL, conceived by BCCI vice-president Lalit Modi and backed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and all 10 Test-playing nations, will comprise 56 matches in Twenty20 format.Each franchise will have a squad of 16 players registered with the BCCI and drawn from its central contract pool. Moreover, each team will also feature under-21 players and those from the BCCI's annual contract.
There will be eight franchises for the first year and the IPL hopes to double that number to 16 by 2010.

If it was Queen's birthday yesterday, confused who is she. Yes it was Aishwarya's birthday.
Today is Birthday of King,Baadshah,Don of bollywood - Shah Rukh khan,Who turns 42 today.
Still i remember once in television show,where he said that " WHEN I CAME TO BOMBAY, I WANTED TO OWN THE CITY. TODAY IT OWNS ME."
His charisma,intelligence and sense of humor makes him stand apart from others in bollywood.He is already to set his charm this Diwali.
Just a week ahead of much awaited bollywood release of year "Om Shanti Om",where he is playing the lead actor under his home production.
As he says that he is nervous,excited as never before with this release,obviously when he is competing against another much hyped Sanjay Leela bhansali's "Saawariya".
However interestingly SRK says he is competing with his own movie "CHAK DE INDIA",Which happens to be only one movie which had good responses from all the corners from critics to box office. Also it would be remembered for longtime alongside "SWADES" for SHAH RUKH's best performance in his entire career.
SRK has been in bollywood for 16 years,Starting his career from theater,television and then making into big screen.who has achieved a lot in really very short span time without any bollywood background when he made his entry and Only person to be compared against great actors of all time like Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar.
He is really kind of person who enjoys in what he does,Always tries to give his best shot.
"Yes ,People say that he repeats himself in every film he does,But i totally disagree with this. I think he is still versatile actor we have."
He has really come of age as an actor,still has lot in him to give his crazy fans all over the world.

As age has no bar for BAADSHAH of bollywood,Who still rules the Box office.

Bhumika Chawala ties KNOT.

Bhumika chawala got married to her longtime love Bharat thakur,Recently wedding reception was arranged for family and friends in Mumbai .The wedding reception was star studded as lot of celebrities made their presence to wish the new couple.
However it was kind of shocking to know that there was no one from down south from kollywood or tollywood industry on occasion,Where bhumika started her career in acting and become well known artist down south,Before making her debut in bollywood opposite SALMAN KHAN in Tere naam.
Entire Bachchan family,Anil kapoor,Kareena kapoor and Neha dhupia and lot of other star were also seen at reception.

RGV's SARKAR RAJ

Ram Gopal Verma tries to play safe with his next movie SARKAR RAJ sequel of SARKAR fame,which was said to be Indian version of "The Godfather".The movie-SARKAR RAJ which was supposed to be released by end of the year,will hit the theaters on feburary 08.
After his recent movies not doing very well at the box office,He has taken back step to release his favorite project of all time ,which brings back Big B and Jr. Bachchan.
Another surprise element in this movie would be Aishwarya Rai . According to sources she has done marvelous job. Even RGV took back seat during shoot by seeing the dedication of ASH towards her work.
Trade analyst feel that the decision of postponing the release date is due to recent failures of RGV factory,Starting from RGV ki AAG,Darling and Go.
RGV ki AAG was hyped to an extent that it will overdo the real version of SHOLAY,Actually which that didnt happen,Everything went wrong from script to casting.
So it seems like RAMU has lost his touch,It would be great to see how soon he gets into track and starts producing n directing with really good scripts.
And if rumors are to be believed,Ramu has already started working on his next project,Which has again his favorite theme with background-UNDERWORLD.
RGV had really bad time of his career from producing to directing his movies this season,have to wait and see whats there for next season.

Kareena in "BIKINI"

Yes its KAREENA's turn after AISHWARYA and BIPASHA in DHOOM2.
According to sources, kareena will be seen in Bikini in Yash chopra's TASHAN.
It is learnt that director Vijay Krishna Acharya and producer Aditya Chopra ,who want to show Kareena in new avatar.
However there's no confirmation on these from production house till now.
Bebo is paired opposite to new beau SAIF and also stars AKSHAY, ANIL KAPPOR.
Everybody has gone for full makeover with their looks from haristyle to costumes.
Though kareena has done lot of glamrous roles in her movies and also item numbers in couple of movies , this would be really re-introducing KAREENA.
Movie is slated to hit early next year.

Kajol in " You , Me and Hum"

Yep its Kajol who is making her comeback with none other than hubby Ajay Devgan in "You,Me and Hum", Movie is ready to go on floor very soon.

This marks another actor turning into director,yes after Aamir with "Taare zameen par" now its AJAY DEVGAN who is directing the movie apart from acting, scripting and producing.

After longtime the real couple are making comeback,last time they were seen together was in "Raju chacha" was one of expensive movie,But couldnt taste the sucess at box office.

However "You,Me and Hum" would be full and full love story, So it would be nice to see how the movie will do at box office.

"My name is Khan" is Karan johar's next movie, Which has one of bollywood's sexiest couple SRK and KAJOL on screen.

Both are making a comeback together almost after gap of 7 years,they have given big hits like DDLJ, Kuch Kuch hota hai, Khabi khusie khabi gham.Everybody expected kajol to make a comeback with SRK,but it went other way that she was paired opposite to Aamir in Faana.

However the wait is now over and we can see the SRK and Kajol together on big screen.

Sources reveal that shooting stint will start by end of decemeber this year and would be released in early 2009.

Karan johar is already making frequent visits to US to finalise the look of the film and final discussions are going on costumes of SRK and KAJOL.

According to Industry sources, The movie "My name is khan" is about how people with muslim names are seen with suspicion inaternationally after 9/11 terror attack in United states. Karan is very exicted and tight lipped about this project.

SRK quits ROBOT !

Shah Rukh says he is jobless for next 7 months,after saying no to Rajkumar Hirani's untitled movie and now its Shanker's ROBOT !

This happaned due to some creative differences between Baadshah and Southern director,as SRk didnt like the final product of script and shankar was also not ready to rework on the script.So its confirmed that movie is on hold till shankar finds a new star for his dream project.

This was undoubtedly super duper hit combination and this is not first time SRK has said no to shankar.

Earlier SRK was first approached for NAYAK, But he refused the offer stating that he has done similar role in Phir bhi dil hai hindustani.

So it seems that now SRK has to re-work on his schedule. As DON-2 is slated to take off at end of 2008,as FARHAN AKTHAR is busy producing 3 movies under his home production.

It would be interesting to see what's on the card for Badashah after release of Om Shanti Om !

It was quite interesting to see our "CHOTE NAWAB"(Saif) coming clean about his much talked relationship with "BEBO"(Kareena) after lot of rumours making rounds in tinsel town.

So finally wait is over,As Saif was seen saying " Yes we are together and we are Happy".Both were seen recently at fashion show of Manish malhotra.

On the other hand "Shahid" has said that he is "SINGLE" again.

According to sources, Shahid is dating Viday balan.Both the stars got closer while working on Aziz mirza next movie.
The Shahid-Kareena were together almost for 2-3 years,ended up their relationshipin Bollywood style.Both of them not in place to spit out what went wrong timebeing.Only time will tell..Bollywood style!
"Jab we met" movie to hit theatre's this week with shahid and kareena in lead.Have to really wait and watch,how box office is going open after the break up.

I think it would be fair to say "Jab we Break up" rather "Jab we met".

Aamir's Taare Zameen Par

Aamir is well known as Mr.Perfect of bollywood,with his own way of acting,producing and now one more thing in his kitty making his debut as director for his home production.
I think he is one of the smartest person in bollywood circle,who loves to have his own space.
After being part of two big hits last year Rang de Basanti and Fanna!
Almost one year , He is making a comeback for his home production "Taare Zameen Par" slated to release by end of this year.Its gonna be very unique experience for Aamir's fans because everybody has seen him as actor experimenting with his of roles and here he is directing the movie for the first time.
The movie was supposed to be directed by Amol Gupte,who is well known friend of Aamir. When Amol narrated the story to Aamir,he was very much impressed with script that he said he want to produce the movie.
As movie started to aamir felt that project is not heading towards right direction and he made clear to amol that he doesnt want to act and produce the movie.
What amol can do,he gave up amd Aamir took the charge and he has proved that why he is called Mr.Perfectionist.
Aamir is playing the role of teacher to dyslectic child.
And the movie has has soundtrack by trio Shankar,ehasan and loy who are putting their efforts
to make this big hit,for me music very much resemebles with "Rockford".
The promos of movies are already shown in theatres and music channels,which looks really good. It says one and all that movie is very much dedicated to kids and youngsters.

Have to really wait and watch can "Stars come down on Earth" and bless Aamir is director.

Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om!!

Then Start saying Chak de *Om Shanti Om *, Movie ready to hit theatres and Multiplexes very soon all across the continent on auspicious day of Diwali, its big gift for movie buffs.One of the most awaited releases of 2007 clashing against another biggie " Saawariya".
After giving big hit "Main Hoon Na(2004)" This happens to be the second movie for Farah Khan as director.
Lets get back to "Om Shanti Om" now,It stars Shah Rukh Khan and My Dream girl Deepika Padukone as lead actors,supported by Arjun Rampal ,Shreyas Talpade.
If sources are be beleived -Om Shanti Om is ready to create another record by going in for an unheard of 2000 prints (worldwide) release. This is the highest number of prints for any Indian movie till date.
The movies is already doing the rounds with youngsters to Seniors with its music,where everybody is hmming with Dard-e- Disco .The music is scored by none other than duo Vishal-Shekhar who gave raunchy numbers for movies such as DUS and TA RA RUM PUM.
The music has hit all the charts topping in list,which has mix of melidious,western and music of 70s,80s.
Interestingly close to 30 of the Bollywood's sexiest stars are putting in a guest appearance for a special song in the film- Deewangi Deewangi.
And how to forget Dard-e-Disco, song which has SRK bare chested showing 6 pack abs.He really looks damn sexy.

So for some dreams ,one lifetime is not enough.
